Why a Christian should never be a Democrat
Would you belong to an organization that preached hatred or
practiced open discrimination? Think about that for a moment and hold
onto your answer until the end. Now please understand that one of the
main platforms of the Democrat Party is the support of abortion rights
including partial birth abortion without restriction.
Partial birth abortion is a method of late-term (after 20 weeks or 5 months) abortion that terminates a pregnancy and results in the death of a partially born child. The brain of the child is removed as it is being born in order to terminate the life.
Democrats (liberals) argue that partial birth abortion is a valid procedure when the mother's HEALTH is in danger. Republicans (conservatives) argue that partial birth abortion should only be allowed if the mother's LIFE is in danger. The conservative position is the correct one.... because there is nowhere in established law that allows one person to take the life of another when only your health is in danger.
Think of the consequences if this standard were applied to everyday life. If your co-worker has a cold - by speaking to him your health becomes endangered. Does this mean that you have the right to take their life? The standard would create chaos in society and only makes sense in the confused emotional mind of a liberal.
Now go back to the original question- which was would you belong to an organization that preached hatred or practiced open discrimination? If your answer is no - then why would you belong to an organization (Democrat Party) that supports the termination of a life of an innocent child as it is being born? If you won't belong to an organization that discriminates- why belong to one that promotes murder? And the murder of an unborn child- which is the most defenseless in all of society. Unborn children are unable to protect themselves and it is for that reason we should do everything we can to protect them.
It is estimated that more than 6,000 partial birth abortions take place in the United States each year.
For this reason and this reason alone- a Christian should never be a
Democrat...
