The First Step to Secret to Life
The first step to the secret to life is separation from the self. This is the key in order to love others, to lead a life of humbleness and to find salvation. We live in the flesh, but must walk in the Spirit. The flesh always fights the Spirit. If you are unable to deny the desires of the self, you will be a slave to those desires and then what path will you follow? It will be a path of selfishness, the path to sin. Galatians 5:19-21 says, "Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God." A Christian is to live a life of love, grace and serving others. And this is the path to salvation...

Poverty in America. Look closely and you will see that the greatest cause of poverty is immorality - it is sin. And so what is immorality? Immorality is the non-separation of selfish desires. Immorality is selfishness... complete selfishness! It is laziness, lying, drug addiction, sex addiction, child molestation, thievery, fornication and murder. It is caring about your own selfish desires above all else. Prisons are filled with immoral people who broke the laws of society, people who lived selfish lives of the flesh. The world is filled with people who live in spiritual prison who broke God's laws and live selfish desires of the flesh.. Understand that spiritual poverty is the greatest poverty. Whatever your mind sets upon - that is what you will follow. Colossians 3:2 says, "Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth"

The greater ones lengths to satisfy their desires will be the greater of their sins. Not only will they fall in society but in Heaven. People not only ruin their own lives, but that of their friends, families and the lives of unborn children and their souls....

"Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." Matthew 6:19-21

There is no escape from this truth....

If you want to find the answers that you are really looking for... the first step is the separation from the self... because that is the secret to life...
